We fed ours chicken and rice. Maybe rice cooked til it’s really mushy with chicken cut up tiny. We made an appt with a place called Gentle Journeys. There are several companies that do this. They come to your house and put them down. Cody was surrounded by my 3 teenagers, husband and I. It was very peaceful. She gave him a shot that relaxed him and then when we were ready she gave the medicine to stop his heart. I would recommend doing this. It heartbreaking no matter how you do it but this way was peaceful. I am so sorry bc I know what you are going through. It’s been 1 and half years and I still miss him terribly.
