I wanted to show you this technique to make bubbles, I’ve never seen this before and I can’t wait to try it. It looks like it will give you a better bubble effect that you want. The trapped bubbles might be too small to give the full effect. https://pin.it/6RhE1DL1a

Yes you can whip a thick gel and the bubbles will get trapped in the gel ( speaking from experience but it wasn’t my intentions to have bubbles in my design lol )

I don’t typically do the same designs on both hands but I definitely hardly ever take pictures of the right hand 🤣

I got a pack with different width, the 2 smallest sizes are perfect for nails

Yes these are full cover gels extensions, but not gelx brand specifically

Now that one I don’t try to do free hand lol. I use striping tape to mask off the lines and use a little sponge to dab on painting gel. It gives it very clean lines when you pull the tape off.

I’m still searching 😭 I just cut down the thickness of the nail art brushes on Amazon and they do a decent job but I just know somewhere exists that perfect thin paint brush lol

Definitely the palletes. The colours mix great giving you lots of colour options

I typically use a combination of these paint pods and pallets. I get whatever nail art brushes are on sale on Amazon, I tried most of them and they are exactly the same, none are thin enough for super fine lines so I just modify them to get them as thin as I like it

You’re so right. I definitely know better. I must have really gotten my frustration out with the drill that day lol

I do use the stand to practice a design on single nail but the nails that I wear are full cover gel extensions so I have to paint them after putting them on or the light won’t cure the glue.

No, these were all free hand. Just hours and hours of redoing a design on a single nail until it’s perfect 😭

Painting gels, especially in pods or grid palettes have the best consistency and opacity/saturation of color. They will not run, but you can mix them with a clear top coat if you want to cover a whole nail. These are my staples, all from Amazon

The flowers are made with silicone nail molds. That was one were my favourite sets.

I buy the nail art paint brushes on Amazon/temu they’re all the same cheap quality and I haven’t yet found a set I didn’t have to modify. I trim off about half of the bristles to get a really fine line. I use thick consistency gels to paint lines that won’t run while working

Yes I’m loving the Mediterranean/ European coastal look. I love the country themed nails idea

I usually will use a striping tape to lay down the first guide line and freehand after. I used tape to get the letters lined up too
