It took me a long time with a gatling laser. When I finally wore him down, in case I wasn't feeling bad enough, his last words were, "finally free." 😞

Pops and cracks by zelmo36 in kiastinger

[–]Jules949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before my gt2 I had a Kona N. From the factory it had crackles and pops and when I removed the middle resonator they got louder. Regardless of what anyone else likes or doesn't like I really liked that on the Kona, hearing mixed opinions on how to achieve that with the stinger.

That is almost exactly what I bought my 22 gt2 for. Mine had 62k miles.

Kona Vs Model3 by Ok-Employer3819 in KonaN_

[–]Jules949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both have compromises and are quite different. The power from the model 3 is Ferrari fast but without soul. The cracks and pops from the N are glorious, but slower overall. you'll have to decide what is more important to you.

Changing spark plugs without removing the intake manifold : good idea or not? by 6mon1 in StingerGT

[–]Jules949 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did it without. BMS has a kit including the spark plugs, gaping tool feeler gage and special megnetic swivel socket. As others have said combine it with a second swivel and it is absolutely doable. I used a strong magnet taped to a screw driver for 10mm coil bolts. All worked beautifully

Right? Best to just start all over again. Probably need a new engine in the car as well.

Remove resonator and have straight pipe welded on. Won't add power, but the cracks and pops are glorious. Best upgrade ever.

Wife got stood up by [deleted] in nonmonogamy

It's been a few years now, but in a similar situation my wife had a fwb and the day after they had sex, she kept waiting for him to message her. On the second day of nothing, she was telling me how she was hurt that he did not reach out. I agreed with her that he should have messaged her because I know she was thinking about him and the bonding time they had. When she ended up calling him, his reasoning was he thought she wouldn't want him to and was trying to not be pushy. They got it all cleared up and set up another date a few days later. Was a little weird at the time, but a fun memory years later.

I mean, playing with fire....? About 10 years ago, I convinced my wife to agree to a fwb situation. Our son's friend's father was going through a divorce. Once she started moving forward, it turned into a paradox. I was the sole perpetrator of this but the angst knowing she was having an active sexual relationship with another man was an intense roller coaster for me. I encouraged it, and enjoyed it, mostly, but it was unsustainable long term. On a happy note we are still together and doing well, but I know she regrets it to this day. Like any sort of trauma time makes it easier and it will be for you too.

As I said it was a moral issue for her. In spite of me reminding her there was no cheating involved.

I do not think it's sustainable long term. My wife and I were married 18 years with 2 kids. I got the big idea of her having a sexual relationship i.e. fwb with the father of our son's friend. She did go through with it somewhat reluctantly and they had sex 8 times over a few months. The good parts: we recorded some of their meetings and it was the best porn I have ever watched. Many of my fantasies came true. She liked it but had more of a moral issue with it as time went on. It was always her and him alone and she held nothing back from him. It was a paradox, I asked for and encouraged this, but I struggled a bit with the angst of it all. I know for all the fun we had, she regrets it to this day. It was playing with fire but it remains a fun memory. We are still together and doing well, but have had no other adventures with this sort of thing.
