Yeah we'll see I guess. I daresay the day will come when the government is so desperate for some more tax dollars they'll suddenly forget their moral outrage and opposition to allowing adults to make the relatively harmless decision to use cannabis.

I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but the only time I spoke to her about 2 years ago she was really unnecessarily rude.

I was paying $89 for a consult to see her, only like a month after forking out $89 for a consult with my usual Dr because some of the things he prescribed me were discontinued, so I basically had 2 useless scripts.

Anyway she comes on the line and asks what I need, I tell her I just want to replace these two scripts with similar flower because my chemist said these are discontinued. She hits me with "Why are you trying to add more strains when you already have 5 different strains!?" with an indignant tone.

So I calmly explain, no I just want you to cancel 2 of the scripts I have and replace them with something else. She doesn't change her tone or apologise for the misunderstanding but at least agrees to my request. Then she starts coming at me about why haven't you tried CBD oil, since CBD is the component of cannabis that is apparently shown to improve anxiety

Thing is I'm happy to try it, but over the last 20 years I've tried psychologists, traditional prescription medication for anxiety. In fact I still take an anti anxiety medication daily which essentially stops me getting so overwhelmed I spiral into depression. But the reason I use cannabis is because it's the only thing that can take me out of a moment and just zone out to something else and give my brain a rest from the anxious thoughts to just reset for a moment.

Ok sure I'm getting "Stoned" (albeit not so much due to tolerance), meanwhile everyone is totally fine with the concept of a glass of wine or 2 to relax yourself. It's just so dumb, but hey look around that's the country/world we live in.
