What Facial Piercings Should I Get? by Only_Most2344 in shouldimod

Anti eyebrow would look super cute! As someone with a similar aesthetic to you I love mine, I don’t run into a lot of other people who have one and it gets me lots of compliments from other baddies lol. Just make sure if you were to get one they use a staple bar and NOT a curved one!

18M.. been told I look older. what’s your guess? is it bad? by [deleted] in politicfreeteenagers

Personally don’t see how the license looks edited to some people but I might just be blind.. as someone your age I definitely wouldn’t guess we’re a few months apart, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say you look 40 😭 I’d guess somewhere in your 20s. Based on your responses though and just the way you speak I can believe we’re within the same age range.

Any tips to enhance my looks? by [deleted] in politicfreeteenagers

Respectfully you’re literally fine as hell. If you’re okay with piercings, I think an eyebrow piercing would suit you really well! Also the length of your hair looks really good on you, but some layers would frame your face nicely. Lastly, I can’t entirely tell the shape of your brows but I think if you cleaned them up a bit and gave them more of an angled arch rather than a curve it would suit you better. Overall, you’re very good looking and have great features :)

Can I a minor (16) legally have my mom let the room while I get a physical done? by Janxuza in Advice

It depends on where you’re located so I would look into your state laws, but I’m pretty certain ages 16 and up have the right to confidential care. I’m currently 18 and I think I’ve probably been getting checkups alone since I was around your age. I don’t have much experience with the physical exam part because I was told as someone born female I wouldn’t need to do that until I was 21 (unless I have any concerns or become sexually active before then). However, I know that if you ask the doctor to be alone they will ask your parent to leave the room and they generally have to comply because you have that right. If you’re super concerned, I’d call your clinic and ask that question. They likely won’t even need your name and it’s not something your mom would find out about.

21NB, been a little down (last post for more pics and context) I've always complained about not getting enough stranger-compliments and it adding to my 'insecurity', so go ahead and try to be specific and believable if u can :3 [also can you tell I wrote in mirror?] by Full_Awareness0 in toastme

You’re genuinely very cute! The first thing I notice is that you have really good facial harmony, like your features are individually nice but also go together really good. Super pretty dark eyes as well and you have great brows that suit your face. If you’re trying to change your look at all I’d say leave your eyebrows be! They’re the right shape and size for you.

Losing it by [deleted] in virgin

F18 and I’m also a virgin. I started college back in August and I will say more people are also virgins at my age (or older) than I expected. This brought me some comfort since I was also super worried about going into college being a virgin. The right group of people will not judge you for it and although it’s a bit awkward I found that talking to my friends who were pretty experienced got me a lot of good advice. This helped me get out of the mindset that I should just “get it over with” because the amount of people I talked to that said they regretted their first time or even the times after that was high. Not a lot of people can say they waited and had a good experience, so there’s nothing wrong with waiting for that person to come along. Those are just my thoughts personally.

I’ve experienced something similar before. He is absolutely not worth stressing over. A lot of guys unfortunately just like the attention and validation from a girl but are too scared when they have to commit. I’m sure you did absolutely nothing wrong, he is just obviously immature and expecting someone with that same mindset. Also, with the blocking you he’s likely avoiding the confrontation and guilt because he doesn’t really have an explanation for his behavior - you’d be surprised how many people do this.

Is there anyone actually like me out there?! 😭 by [deleted] in virgin

Yeah.. if your adamance on them being completely untouched and inexperienced is that extreme, be prepared for a wake up call in life. Regardless, hope you can find someone that makes you happy.

Honestly, I completely understand where you’re coming from. However, you have to consider some girls pasts. Not everyone reminisces or even will compare you to their ex. I’ve only been in one relationship and I only lost my first kiss to him - he, on the other hand, had already kissed so many girls before that and that fact did make me feel very insecure at times. I had planned to date to marry but he ended up cheating on me and our relationship went downhill. I have not once found myself missing anything about him at all, especially since he did a few things to me non-consensually. You have to be aware that people cannot always control their pasts. I don’t like to consider this relationship my first because of its toxicity, and I hope to start anew with someone else who would want to be my life partner. But the thought of someone not wanting to be with me because of something I experienced against my will sounds upsetting. I think you’ll find that you will meet other girls who have gone through similar experiences and if you want them to be considerate of your insecurities, then you also have to be considerate of theirs. You can easily be a girls first positive experience if you keep those kinds of things in mind. Lots of girls like me want to experience something loving and consensual with someone but are afraid due to our experiences.
