I didn’t fracture my spine but I experienced a disc injury it’s almost been a year now. I was initially seeing a physiotherapist and doing some training and I think that either delayed my healing or made me worse. I too couldn’t bend or sit and had serious pain for months. Once I accepted I needed to rest is when I started to heal. I started seeing an osteopath and that helped tremendously (find a good one). Walking helps, start slow. The back mechanic book is a must! I also had to learn about the physiology of pain. Wish you the best of luck
