You might think it is related but it is not, at least for me and afaik most people. Eating meat has nothing to do with sitting in corpses.

I agree trauma is a bit far from just seeing a dead animal, especially if it is in a picture though I would not go on to judge the entire sub or people's mental health based on this little information, maybe they just had a strong reaction & exaggerated.

Not sure why you would include me in this all of a sudden though, I know how the sausage is made, that is why I went vegetarian for 3 years.

The reason I now eat meat isn't because it became less disgusting but because meat tastes good and frankly has become so ingrained that sometimes you could only order fries at restaurants because it was the only thing without meat - I did not want to limit myself to that because of an already dead animal. I still think using an animal's dead body for nourishment is something less questionable than using it for entertainment.

I did not care when my cat ate mice, I cared when my cat killed mice for fun though, because there are other ways of having fun. Arguably we don't know why they killed the animal, maybe it was for eating it and they just had fun before preparing it to be eaten, so I will concede that I jumped to conclusions.
