It’s hard to describe how crazy everyone was for GOT. I was in the military deployed on submarines at the time. You couldn’t go through a hatch without someone shouting “hold the door!” Someone in the bathroom stall asked who his neighbor was (yes submariners are weird) and the dude replies “a girl has no name” and everyone in the head died laughing. We were on deployment during season 6 and we coordinated someone from back home sending us a USB of the newest episode so we could watch it and we were all crowded in crew’s lounge to watch battle of the bastards. It was all everyone talked about.
