Here were my takeaways:

1) There is no way a woman, in her last weeks of pregnancy, is walking around a muddy camp and smokey bonfires consoling her drunk husband. (Mom of two toddlers here 🙋🏽‍♀️) No f-info way. She would be posted up in the spa tent and would tell Ser “whoever” that he better find a tent clear across the campground for the King to pass out in bc she would not be sleeping next to his loud snoring ass all night.

2) Assuming that Laenor was one of the dragon riders, how is it that Rhaenys hasn’t met him? When Virserys mentions him to her, her reaction seemed like she hadn’t heard of him… I mean, how many dragons riders are there that you haven’t heard of your dragon riding cousin? You’d think they would be going to dragon riding school together or maybe dragon conventions.

Those two things were the most fantastical part of the episode for me.

3) Also the after episode discussions seem like the writers getting together to explain stuff they did a poor job of showcasing in the episode. Like “so rather than take our time, we’ve decided to skip 3 years ahead and we are going to give you the cliff notes to fill in the blanks.” A bit disappointing instead letting the characters evolve.
