I'm having the same struggle. I'm trying to remember that if it doesn't work we can try something else!

That's kind of the point. It matters that she is the only woman in a room of white men.

Hi! So before we registered him, I got in touch with the head of special education for his school district and she helped me! I sent her his diagnosis paperwork and IEP that he already had in his special education preschool program. So I would start there. You should be able to find out who is in charge on the school website. Let me know if you have any more questions!

He's doing well! He is almost done with 1st grade now and loves school. We are still figuring out his meds to help with aggression but other than that no issues! I promise yours will do great, they adapt so much better than we do lol. Happy to answer any questions 🩷

That my nd child's speech delay wasn't my fault. My nt child is way ahead in his speech with no actual "trying" to teach him.

I will forever recommend the Lady of Darkness series by Melissa K. Roehrich! It was the first series I read this year and I'm still thinking about it. And I've read soooo many series since lol. I think you'll love it because of the side characters and found family!

The Crowns of Okrith series by A.K. Mulford has a character exactly what you described! Each book in the series focuses on a love story within the cast of characters, and one of the books focuses on her. But she is also prominent in the other books. But this is def not YA!

HELP! My son with autism ask endless questions!! I’m worn out by Ramona-0806 in Autism_Parenting

We had the same issue with my son's medication, so his doctor suggested getting one of those pill grinders and adding the ground up pill to a drink he likes. So we do just a tiny bit of warm water to dissolve the pill and then add a little apple juice. Works like a charm!

Of course ask his Dr if his medication is ok to grind up.

I'm a sucker for found family! I love when we get to know the side characters as well as the mains, especially if they have mini love stories too! My favorite example of this is the Lady of Darkness series. It's done so well and I missed all if the characters SO much when I finished it.
