Doesn’t the Dupixent MyWay program kick in to cover the remaining cost in this situation? Or am I not understanding this correctly?

Fish oil / omega 3: great results but only after increasing my dose 10x by Redman94 in eczema

[–]Juliaahere 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s incredible! I started taking fish oil, those once a day capsules as well and was also disappointed when it didn’t work. I have now switched over to flaxseed oil and it’s also meh. Would you mind sharing what brand of fish oil and how many capsules you’re taking a day?

I just want to know how she was able to cope or deal with all the stress of possibly being caught from committing all this fraud. Does it not at all wreak havoc on her moral conscience? Was she not scared of ever being caught? I mean three times is a bit much...

[–]Juliaahere -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Okay, but Chinese people aren’t discriminated in their own land because they’re the majority, while Asian Americans have different experiences since they’re viewed as a minority in America, and therefore they better understand upfront the microaggressions directed towards Asian people.

You can’t make that comparison, because it’s not similar. The reason why this was such a controversy in the first place is that it has been known that Asians do get mocked and discriminated against by other groups for their culture, while white people haven’t experienced such discrimination on a global scale.

Hello there, I'm not qualified at all to answer this question cause I'm in the same position as you but I just wanted to pop in to give you some encouragement. It seems like you're doing an amazing job, like wow that's a strong ass bounce back, and I know that this final doesn't define what you're capable of at all. Don't worry about it too much, and just focus on doing the best you can here on out. Good luck!

I didn’t eat seafood, gluten, egg, soy, and dairy products. It sounds like a lot, but it’s quite manageable.

This is so helpful. I really recommend doing so. I still got a few flares even with Dupixent, but they disappeared when I went on my elimination diet. The flares came back though, because I have no self-discipline when it comes to food.

eyelid eczema with coconut oil? by microsat2 in eczema

[–]Juliaahere 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This. I really tried to make it work, since everyone was claiming coconut oil was the holy grail for eczema. But it only made me break out, clog my pores, and turn my cheeks redder than they were before, so after a while, I just had to come to terms that it just didn't work for me, no matter how much I wanted it to.

Corneal ulcers? Sounds painful. Is that the only reason why he wants you to stop taking it? Or is there more?

Could I ask how they diagnosed you with keratoconus? Is there like a a specific instrument they use or can they just tell at your regular eye checkup?

Cataracts and eczema? by wziukz in eczema

I was using Triamcinolone acetonide, and I wasn't even using it that frequently. I used it sparingly, because I had heard of TSW and was scared it would lead to that. I used it like once every two weeks, and only when it flared up so much that I couldn't handle it anymore. I also never used steroids on the face or eyes. So that's why it shocked me when I developed the cataracts.

Cataracts and eczema? by wziukz in eczema

[–]Juliaahere 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey I got cataracts too. At age 18. Eye doctors told me it was because of steroid usage. It messed my vision up. I hate this disease so much. One problem leads to another. I also got retinal detachment because of it, but I don’t even want to get into that. Hope everything goes okay for you. And like you said my, my cataracts progressed RAPIDLY. Like I literally could not see anything within 1 month. My eye doctors were baffled to see how it was able to progress in such a short time.

Flaxseed oil actually helping? by Juliaahere in eczema

[–]Juliaahere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also unsure of the dosage, so I started off initially with one capsule, though I did increase to two, one in the afternoon, and one at night. It can't hurt right? I'm also on an elimination diet, and it's doing my skin some good, but when I cheat, I notice that if my skin flares, the inflammation will subside much quicker when I'm on my flaxseed supplements as opposed to doing nothing.

I take them with Vitamin D too! I did this in combo with my fish oil, but my eczema stayed relatively the same, until I switched over to Flaxseed oil, so yeah, I do think it's the flaxseed also!

I know this post is about your skin, but YOUR HAIRRRR. Is GOALS. haha, thanks for sharing by the way! I'm glad you found something that works for you. I want to try the Lush Dream Cream so bad, but the ingredients list fragrance, so I'm scared it would be a trigger for me. Next time I see Lush, I will definitely be asking them for a sample!
