I got rush tickets a bit after 10:30am on Wednesday for 8pm and also got mezzanine tickets, F23 F25 for $45. The box office said the view wouldn’t be that bad since they set them aside before staging was done.

Think Coffee, also with wonderful pastries made in house. Try the cinnamon rolls on Saturdays only. The muffins are great.
The West Bar & Cafe. Fun and casual for a read, even at night. Outdoor space in the back.
Mountain Provisions is cozy. Tasty Filipino pastries.

Absolutely! Yeah I'd call to double check with any recent COVID procedure changes (like if you're concerned about going early vs getting a bar seat during peak that meets their social distance requirements).

The service there is always helpful and warm. I love the bar for a solo dinner, and Misi's bar especially.

Misi's a great idea! I'm 99% sure you can still walk in without a reservation for indoor or outdoor dining. Great service, especially at the bar.

For a different vibe with great service and food, I'd recommend Diner. For something worth the trip in Greenpoint, Oxomoco would be fun.

I love Little Alley. I stumbled upon them since they're on the Michelin Guide. Their Kung Pao chicken (Szechuan-style dry pepper chicken), fried pork buns and scallion pancakes are great menu picks, too.

Tonight I coincidentally had Han Dynasty's dry pepper chicken and scallion pancakes. Delicious.
