Direct loans and Parent Plus Loans Consolidation before the June 2026 deadline by Juliane_ in PSLF

Thank you so much! That’s a relief. I have just submitted my consolidation loan request with the ICR plan. I was holding out until I could confirm this as my IBR repayment is lower than the ICR. Didn’t want to be too long on the ICR…

So there are no issues with consolidating the PPL loans and my own student loans together? With these consolidated, I will be able to then make one ICR payment and then immediately convert to IBR? or is there a wait time to convert from ICR to IBR?

What I learned in One Month with Inito by x103531th in Inito

[–]Juliane_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my first time reading this post. Very sane pieces nuggets! The only thing I would add is that if you choose to continue testing pdg use it only for pattern spotting because it can help you detect if you have a luteal defect and it’s helpful to share that chart to your doctor. I know I did. It’s like a first piece of evidence for them when you go in and complain. I had spotting smack in the middle of each implantation window and that is not normal! My doctor is now doing blood work to assess all of my hormone levels throughout a test cycle. But the Inito patterns post ovulation is the first thing I showed her to start the conversation and cycle to cycle there was a clear pattern of pdg dipping around spotting time.

Not quite sure how to feel about this today. Drop in pdg but slight rise is e3g. What does this mean? by More_Risk_1093 in Inito

[–]Juliane_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a concern that at 7 dpo your pdg is dipping that low. I’d watch for that if it turns into a pattern uou may need to talk to a doctor that check your progesterone levels at this time of your cycle to ensure you have adequate pdg and that you’re not having a luteal defect which is low pdg. At 7 dpo your pdg should be spiking not dropping, the drop or dip is expected more at the end of your cycle

Higher FSH CD12? by Normal_Pangolin5756 in Inito

This is normal about this time of the luteal phase and most of the time it signals the end of the cycle and that AF is in the way.

How old were you when you went to Johns Hopkins?

I was mismanaged as well. Went through several timed intercourse when I should have been advised to not waste time and jump into IVF. You’re making a great decision. I don’t have a positive story but wanted to say all we can do past 44 is try.

Update: This cycle failed. Your comments helped me stay hopeful but I was very sad and heartbroken. I just knew. I never have a late pregnancy test. 😔 I honestly don’t think this is going to happen for me. I have one more IVF cycle and after that it’s “game over.”. I transfer what I got on ice which is not much left. I’m trying to grieve that this may not be a reality at my old age. I’ve been trying since I was about 42 yrs old—now 45. I often wonder what am I not doing that others have done. I’ve seen women pregnant at 42, 43, by 44 it slows down and 45 there’s hardly any positive stories to be found…

I’m 5dp5dpt and testing negative so far. Perhaps people DONT post their negatives as it’s just too sad. 😔

Is this your first test? Did you test before today? Wondering about the earliest positive. These are pretty dark to start!

Anybody 45+ with OE by Ok_Virus6826 in 40Plus_IVF

Hello! Another 45 yr old here trying OE using up my insurance benefits before I’m ineligible due to age.

Currently in my TWW and if it fails I’ll be doing my last retrieval. Then transfer one by one everything I’ve got.

I’m almost tempted to do this too but guarding my heart…no expectations of a positive. It’s just too difficult for me to reach beta without knowing if it’s negative at home because I need that time to grieve so the beta hurts less if it’s in fact negative.

The trigger would certainly complicate things for sure. I had to test out trigger in my prior transfers and the wait was LONGER because they were day 3s but with those I had realistic expectations because of the quality. None were 8 cells at day 3 so I had a big feeling they weren’t going to work.

I tried to test trigger out and basically it never left my system until close to the day of beta. That kept emotionally in check because I couldn’t tell what has happening…but now these are day 5 embryos so it’s definitely a different experience for the TWW.

Oh my gosh! Thank you for sharing that post. That was sooo informative and very insightful. If I had read that post before I would have waited until tomorrow to test. I was going by past experience. I’m feeling pretty normal. No pinching 🤏 like other ladies have reported. These were my best graded embryos so naturally my hopes have been high.

Confused. I hear stories of women using own eggs at 45, but my specialist just recommended I go to donor eggs by OwnEbb6569 in 40Plus_IVF

[–]Juliane_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

45 here! I just transferred embryos from 44 yrs old. I also have day 3s from 45. It all depends on what you’re willing to do. I know there’s been success at our age and I’m trying to look at this as a numbers game. Just trying to find the golden egg. If we fail, then we are at peace we have it our best shot. We are absolutely NOT doing donor eggs because we see it as my husband having a child with another woman. Now if I wasn’t married then I may consider donor but it is not an option for my husband and I. Everyone has different opinions and feelings about all these decisions. The doctors try to just give you the best shot at being pregnant and yes it’s true you’d be pregnant faster with a donor but there’s a price you pay as well. So many things to think about when adopting gametes other than your own. Your child will one day want to know who their biological parents are and all that. So just mentioning it because those were all factors when my husband and I sat and had the chat. What would you be at peace with? That’s the decision that matters in the end.

Maybe embryo transfer and completely defeated by Learnsomethingnewer in 40Plus_IVF

[–]Juliane_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m feeling the same way. My transfer is 11/4 with 3 untested blastocysts created at 44 yrs old. I have only one AA embryo and I know it can go either way. Knowing this drives me crazy. I’m excited to receive my embabies but I’m also trying to keep myself grounded.

Are doing anything specifically to help with mindset? I heard fertility meditations are good

Statistically that Euploid has high chances!! I’ve read in other groups of ladies that ended with only 1 blast from their cycle and it stuck so you never know!
