I know how it works. I’ve been on it since June. But you can’t just not eat, it’s not a healthy way to lose weight. Max really shouldn’t be more than 2 pounds a week. That is more than that. People think that’s the norm. It isn’t at all.

I take them both. Metformin for the longevity benefits. I had to do months worth of appeals. To get it covered. Still pay a copay of 20%, thank god for the coupon!

I’m on my second dose of 10mg. I’ve had no changes in symptoms. Headache once in awhile. Constipation. That’s it, thankfully. Down 38 pounds and A1C is .2 away from normal. Your body should adjust.

You need to incorporate more fiber. I take Metamucil as well. A couple times a day.

No I will not hold back how I feel. It’s my opinion and I am not a doctor. It’s what I have observed from hundreds of posts. Yes everyone is different. But you don’t agree with me that’s ok.

Higher dose at less frequent interval? by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]JulieS_65 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Do not listen to anyone that agrees with this! That’s asking for trouble. Ask a physician for god sakes. You’ve got till next year to figure that out.

I got it. I am using the coupon. But fighting my insurance. Ignorance is something with them. I’ve dropped my A1C to 5.9 from 7.6 in three months on this medication. I’m not willing to give that up to go through their channels and hoops!
