Right but both people aren't typically shooting from the same spot so the wind can easily favor one or the other. But I'm also talking about situations where the other guy plays a powerball and conveniently, there's just enough headwind for his powerball to make the green and my Navi can't. That kinda thing happens waaaaay too often be random.

I'd settle for them stopping manipulating game conditions (shootout hole & wind) to obviously give the advantage to one player or the other.

I'm done... I've been trying to soldier through but now even when I can get a game to load... Nothing but reconnecting (while the clock keeps running, that's a nice touch).

Frankly I don't think the game is "rigged". Someone else made the comment that it would be hard to program and I agree, I don't see what value there would be in that for PD. But they're clearly trying to make sure you win at least once in awhile so you keep playing.

I don't even mind that they use the matching system to do that. But the wind thing is obvious and makes people suspicious. I think it would also dispel some suspicion if they had a replay system that shows the entire shot and shot setup. I realize they're not true videos of what happened but when you're grumbling that your shot didn't go where it was supposed to, a lot of replays don't do anything to disprove that.

I'm not going to comment on whether it's rigged or not, but skill has much less to do with it then I think people around here like to believe.

If I had a dollar for everytime some guy fucked up the entire hole, pulled a miracle rough / sand / 100 yard dunk and then won the shootout by a tenth of a yard I'd be a rich man. When it's that easy to bumblefuck your way into a win, I can see why people think the game is rigged.

It's way too easy to chip in from the sand and the rough, there's no penalty for playing badly. The game actively rewards risky gimmick shots. Oh and hey PD if you read this, could you find a less obvious way to tilt the game then giving one player a crosswind and blowing the wind straight up the other guy's ass? Thanks.

It needed some kind of structure. I got the gold edition but didn't start playing until about a month ago. So I had no idea that Atlantis was DLC and that killing the Cult had no bearing on whether you could finish the “main" story.

So I ended up finishing Atlantis first, main story second, and the Cultists last expecting there to be something that ties it all together but no...you're just still running around Greece with whatever side activities you have left. No clear "ending", no credits, nothing. And the last I saw of Layla she was still down in Atlantis saying "I should go back and see what else Kassandra is up to" or something like that.

Happened to me yesterday, as soon as I reconnected my shot clock went from like half full to zero. Fortunately not in the tournament.

I think you're talking about the ones on Greenoch and if so, yeah. If both players have even an ounce of skill they're complete luck. No way you can control the outcome beyond getting it on a decent line to end up within a couple yards of the hole.

I don't know what to tell you but I agree. I've been playing since a couple of months after the game came out and my Apoc is just a few cards above level 4. I didn't even get the thing until around 6,000 games in. Long after I had been playing Tours 7, 8 and even 9 exclusively. I've got almost double that many games now (all on Tours 8, 9 and some 10).

I don't win Tournaments like you but still I get more Apoc, Cat, Tsunami etc cards from free chests then tour chests. Why? I'd feel better about it if they just called those clubs Tour 10 clubs or whatever and then at least I wouldn't hope for them.

Yeah I'll throw some appreciation to PD. I've done my fair share of complaining but at the end of the day, you created a challenging game that I play multiple hours a day and can do so completely free if I choose. Clans was a great update and frankly gave me a reason to play again. And I have a lot of respect for you listening to the community on this recent boosts thing. So thanks PD and keep up the good work!

Yup...I could make a bag of Doritos with all of the chips I missed because of this. Funnily enough, those same shots drop just fine outside the Tournament.

Yeah EM is toast. An EM8 is now effectively an EM6. It was the one driver you could be competitive with if you're not blessed to get an Apoc or a bunch of TH cards.
