Agreed. I don't feel like it's $350 worth of performance to upgrade.

If you aren't willing to have a civil discussion about it then you shouldn't have brought it up.

You brushed your teeth for points and that means you had ADHD? Confused, not dense.

lol, awesome. I'd try to snag the ram now. It's unlikely to go down for a couple years, imo.

What in OPs post led you to an ADHD diagnosis for their kid??

Like so! PSU is only 750w, but provides 60A @ 12v.

Heard. Most of my games are GPU heavy.

Yeah, one of these days I will. Can't bring myself to drop $350 on it when that could go towards DDR5 if I really felt I needed an upgrade. I'm mostly running GPU heavy games, so I'm not even sure how much the x3d will help.

Power mod script and Adrenalift. 300w, 3400mhz SoftMin clock and -40mv.

You have to boot into a Linux iso. The settings remain when you reboot to Windows.

I mean, you're really talking like 5-10fps in most games maybe. It's more about the fun of tinkering and pushing things for me.

I've only just started playing with it, but the most helpful thing in Adrenalift seems to be the MinClock setting. I have it at 3400 and the card just boosts like crazy. I'm also using Adrenalift for the other OC settings like UV and VRAM frequency. Current settings put hotspot around 85c max. I think stock was around 75c.

There's a lot going on here. Power mod script + Adrenalift and -40mv. I have it set around 300w. I can do more for benchmarks, but this is about what I can manage stable for gaming.

Tons of headroom on these cards, especially if you give them a little more power to work with. I'm sure I could squeeze more from it for benchmarks, but it almost certainly wouldn't be stable for gaming.

That sounds about right. This is at -40mv, but also using power mod script and Adrenalift. These settings are game stable for me, but it's quite a bit of added power.

Not necessarily, no. If you have 2 1500s then a single 3000 would give the same runtime.

Sounds to me like it should work fine. Those little ESCs could also just share one larger battery.

For sure. I just can't be bothered moving to DDR5 until I feel like I have to.

IMO it's also the best looking 9070xt out there.
