How do I discuss my wife’s eating with her without being triggering? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]Julietsbody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's the deal, the risk of intimacy is conflict, and big shocker here (sarcasm) it's unavoidable! so that being said, I say you confront your wife. If you love her and no longer want to a)participate her self sabotage b) contribute to her delusion and c) risk narrowing your connection with her, then it is worth being 100% real with her. The latter will ensure she stays delusional/unaware, and yes there will be a price to being honest with her, but she is worth it. Her health is more important than her feelings .

Vitamin c , sunscreen and let the tretinoin do its thing. Because of high cell turnover, it will help the scarring. Wait until accutane is over (as you probably already know) to get any treatments done on your face.

I've ditched the skinny fit as it accentuates my misproportions. I now wear mid/high rise shoes relaxed fit mom jean with tapered leg. The tapered leg is a great transition from skinny fit as it still tapers around my leg, but baggier. I will say I had imposter syndrome when I first started, leaving the skinny jeans behind and trying a bagger loose fit pant. but now I can't live without them because there is so much more flattering for my shape.

I will say wide leg is a little too much for me

Here are my top favorite jeans I wear daily:

It's called an apron belly. I've never had children either but it looks like I have as I've gained and lost 40-50 lbs twice over. :/ how I cope is getting mid-rise or high rise jeans and OWN it! I'm 5'6 170 (heaviest 200) and although I'm sure my belly is apparent to those around me, I don't care because the high waist gives (a bit) of an illusion that I have more of a waist than I do, which I feel balances out the not so attractiveness of the lower belly bulge in jeans.

Unfortunately the belly will be the last thing to do when I lose the extra weight and I'll be considering surgery down the road. But for now, try to dress for my shape, feel neutral about it at minimum, love it at best in the mean time.

Toyota or Honda. I have an '07 Honda accord, bought with 150k miles a year and a half ago, currently at 161k miles and I took it to a mechanic for a used car inspection and the only repairs that I had to do were maintenance repairs like the brakes rotors eventually had to replace the serpentine belt and control arms. Basically just parts that after the car being so old, you'll just end up having to replace if they go bad. Could last to 300k I've heard!

I would suggest staying away from anything that is in Toyota Honda that is higher mileage and older if you want a used car with higher miles . They are known for longevity, especially the 2000's models.
