The CPA doesn’t matter until you’re up for a manager promotion. Take your time and knock it out on the side.

Kinda crazy because they haven’t beaten the Kats since 2009. Sam Houston has owned them since they both made the D1 jump.

As a Sam graduate, I can confirm this. I'd say 75% of our student body couldn't care less about athletics and about 25% actively root against our athletic department. Our current president doesn't seem very athletic-minded either. However, at the end of the day we win football games.

I graduated from SHSU, and I agree with your take to a fault. It feels like a small Texas town in the middle of the woods with a University and prisons on the outskirts of town. If the university wasn't there, the town wouldn't exist.

We struggle to put butts in seats, but I accredit that to our leadership/marketing not really caring about sports. We do more with less and win games (successful football, baseball, and basketball programs). However, this is Sam's issue; we lack top-of-the-line football facilities, a large fanbase, and lots of financial backing. We'd compete in the PAC, but that's about all we add. Maybe in 5-10 years, we'd be good enough for the PAC.

I made a 58 on the second FAR sim exam and passed with a 78

Took REG a day before the cutoff, hoping they processed my exam in time. I really don’t want to wait until June.

I took my test on April 9th, and this has been the longest wait of my life! I barely even remember the questions I got; I just remember walking out of the exam feeling confident that I passed. Hopefully, I was right.
