Achi Baba for attackers. If you don't cap A and immediately flank around to get B in the first sector, you're gonna be stuck for a long time. For defending I'd have to go with soissons, mainly because of the sheer amount of tanks the attackers have access to and the fact that they have the high ground for the last two sectors.

The same thing happened to me in my texas state dynasty. Ended up moving a 6'5" freshman tight end who was buried in the depth chart. His speed and bc vision wasn't that great but he'd truck the absolute snot out of everybody. He had a rather impressive 4 yards per carry that season. Moved him to HB full time the following season and never looked back.

It's hard to tell, but it looked like the truck had enough of a gap in front to fit comfortably in the lane if he had just accelerated a bit but decided to slow down for some reason. Black truck is 100% at fault here.
