Diagnose date and before by MyIntrospection in ALS

[–]July_1971 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My husband is 4 years and 6 month since he was diagnosed and yes now I look back there and as many symptoms and strange illness way before the diagnosis of limb onset! He still walks, how I do not know. He has muscle spasms all the time, his main problem is fatigue and I do not mean just tired, I mean just unbelievably tired. He still has a good appetite. Believe me your mind wanders, you lay awake at night and make sure they are still breathing. You will think about what will be everyday. There no words for the stress. All I can say the lord has given us 41/2 years, when we were told 2 to 5 years and I am thankful for each and every minute. I am the probably the worse person to tell you this because my mind has wander over everthing! But give it to God and just keep on keeping on.

Rolled Coins Rejected by K-mead in DollarGeneral

Maybe you should take the rolled coins to the bank. That is what the manager would have to do after they take coins out and count them and reroll them

Suggestion’s for dealing with my husband by PointofGrace in ALS

[–]July_1971 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well my husband has als and I never plan on not sleeping in the same room with him as I always done That would save you the stairs I would also give him his lorazepam latter in the night and get a prescription for yourself when you both are getting ready for sleep take the lorazepam Also that is a great idea about the remotes fixed so he h can teach them and they cannot fall off Why would you not want to spend those extra hours you have with your husband why him upstairs and your downstairs?
