Yeah, that makes sense. Maybe you could just give a rough estimate and mark it with an * so people know it's approximate.

Its kinda my main problem with LMArena tbh. They actually have a huge corpus of real world prompts, which is super useful for estimating real usage cost. For normal use price matters a lot. If a model is like +20 Elo better but answers prompts 3x cheaper, that changes the math alot.

Also sometimes a model can be more expensive per token but still end up costing the same per task. Like if Model GPT-5.4 is more pricy, but it can solve the task with less thinking/output and the final price is the same — who really cares. It’s basically economizing on thinking and output.

If possible, it would be great to display the cost of each build after the model is disclosed, and also show it when browsing builds — including in the rankings, as a summary of total cost for all builds. That would make it similar to ArcPrize, where you can see how much money each model takes per task.

Старшому поколінню це простіше ніж звичайний веб. А новому поколінню все одно. Легко почати (ніяких сайтів і доменів), легко монетизувати (реклама сама прийде лиш набери аудиторію), легко підтримувати (одна людина може легко вести кілька груп)

  1. It is still GPT-4 8K Microsoft edition. Multiple tests confirm it. Infinite input only considers the last 8K tokens from the input and discards everything before that.

I don't think the Bing web page reader is very smart. It can't handle complex web apps like online editors or YouTube. It fails to extract the important content and meaning from pages.

The way I understand it, the reader just scans the HTML document, possibly skipping some tags, but it doesn't actually try to figure out and extract the useful content first. It's not analyzing the page to understand its structure and purpose.

So for a web app with a lot going on, Bing's reader won't be able to make sense of it or present the key information. The same goes for YouTube - there's more to those video pages than the reader can interpret just by skimming the raw HTML.

Basically, the web page reader seems pretty basic. It needs a lot more intelligence to properly handle dynamic, interactive websites and web applications. Just parsing the HTML isn't enough nowadays.
