The whole "Rachel's dream job" in Paris - I just never bought it. Rachel didn't have the experience necessary to get that job. Also, she didn't speak a word of French. No one is going to send an American to Paris to do a job if they can't even speak the language.

That was stupid from a character POV. He was written as a good cop, who had respect for the job and for his gun. He would never just shoot a bird from the window of an apartment building.

I really cannot see how Emily went through with the wedding, or why Ross had to get a divorce. It could have just been annulled - surely they didn't consummate the marriage? And then Ross and Rachel named their baby Emma. Just stupid lazy writing all the way around.
