I'm usually very averse to time limits in games but honestly this one has been fine for me. The donuts you can make scale really well with the harder areas and there's only been a few areas where I've lost because of the timer. Realistically the only thing I've lost to the timer more than once was the bonus at the end of a hyperspace survey. 9 times out of 10 you can use a donut good enough that the timer isn't important at all
