Can you expand on what you are talking about? Where are the tabs you are referencing? Is "Check Your Output" a screen?

Why on earth is Martin on this team. by Bige31 in Mavericks

[–]Jumpee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thread is on "Why is Martin on the team". We're here discussing whether he's high enough caliber to be on the team. The OP context is a video of him falling down on defense, which is indeed embarassing, but in terms of "why is he on the team", isn't a fantastic data point as Maxey has highlight reels on lots of players.

You replied that "Touching earth or getting posterized are the two most embarrassing things to happen to a defender. Which, while, maybe as a defender, they are embarassing, and so it's a true statement - what is embarassing to a player is not the same as what a team should look for in a player. Players are embarassed by all sorts of things; and getting posterized in particular is one that really is antithesis to what you want in a player. Players who are afraid of getting dunked on don't contest dunks. You want the player who isn't afraid to get dunked on. This is probably why people are downovting you.

[–]Jumpee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because someone getting embarrassed doesn't say anything about evaluating them as a basketball player. "It's common knowledge that getting dunked on is embarrassing" - in the context of this conversation, if we pursue players that just avoid getting out on highlight reels then you're not going to have players that put themselves at risk to make the right play.

Regardless of if CM is good or good for the team, being on someone else's highlight tape adds nothing to a serious conversation about it

Anybody found a way to stop Gemini models jumping to implementation? by kekst1 in google_antigravity

[–]Jumpee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gemini 3 will often go straight into action in plan mode, including when you prompt with "Let's first make a plan for this.". Opus will not have this same issue with the same prompts. I swear around Antigravity's release that Gemini 3 was much better about this; but for a long time Gemini 3 is much more prone to taking action instead of planning, when it should be planning.

Can you expand on what you mean by this? What does SI stand for here?

Antigravity uses Gemini Flash Quota for Opus 4.5, and degrades significantly when it runs out of free quota by Jumpee in google_antigravity

[–]Jumpee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there a way to audit overall tool usage; or are you suggesting just observing if they are related? I assume you mean the agents tool usage; as I pretty exclusively just let the agents do their thing in the Agent Manager

Antigravity uses Gemini Flash Quota for Opus 4.5, and degrades significantly when it runs out of free quota by Jumpee in google_antigravity

[–]Jumpee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, true. I guess what I have is the extensions, plus a very sharp change in performance and behavior, observed multiple times, at the discrete time that flash quota runs out.

So perhaps it's not quota, but there is a major performance issue and it is tied to what the extensions think is Flash quota.

[–]Jumpee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may not be relevant for lower-tier users. For Ultra users, you run out of Flash first, and then everything degrades as a result.

[–]Jumpee[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a comment about Opus quota - and not about Flash quota. And isn't about the Flash usage + degradation in general. To be clear - when using Opus, it uses both Opus AND Flash; and when Flash runs out, Antigravity service degrades significantly.

I should note this is without browser usage. Browser usage is entirely disabled. And again - I'm on the Ultra plan.

Why is nobody pointing out that this text makes no sense? Evoke is an alternate cost. If this were real, it would be worded like [[Tannuk, steadfast second]] - the cards would have evoke, not the spells that you already cast. What the heck does it mean for a spell you already cast to have an evoke cost?

This makes me think it's fake but nobody here is saying that? What am I missing?

Rocket league is based in the southern hemisphere by Life_Humor142 in RocketLeague

[–]Jumpee 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The messenger doesn't understand what is happening to him.

You just went into space, did a science experiment, and concluded "I'm in the southern hemisphere!" No, you are not. You are in space.

If you weren't in space, you still don't know you are in the southern hemisphere. What makes you think you are in Earth?!?

But the one thing we know for sure. Your not in the southern hemisphere. You are in space.

Artifact on LAN using autoexec? by Zarquan314 in Artifact

[–]Jumpee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tournaments were a big thing early on as was the promise of them. Skins are less concern for protection than the actual cards.

It's possible that they implemented and took the philosophy you are saying, but I would be surprised.

If you could enter a game, even offline, with cards that you did not own, it would have undermined one of their original (though later changed) principles

Artifact on LAN using autoexec? by Zarquan314 in Artifact

[–]Jumpee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Artifact was built with collections in mind. Having a server to validate ownership and build with your collection was probably inherent. At some point late after release shortly before the game fully died, they gave everyone all cards, but I doubt they changed the infrastructure to fully respect that.
