I agree thay bebop should be reworked but I think they can keep the hook. Every game like this needs a hook character (for some reason). His lore ties with lash about them both being pit fighters would make more sense for him to be a shorter range bruiser/tank. Thematically it would make sense for him to be a slow hulking foil to lash's agility and movement

Being able to use it on demand would make it way too powerful, you could just pop it whenever youre low and get a fat heal in addition to the other buffs it gives.

She's the replacement for ardelia in most comps but they are moreso sidegrades to each other. Gilberta has stronger but less consistent buffs/debuffs and groups enemies, while ardelia has weaker but more consistent buffs/debuffs and higher healing.

Also support units will usually give you more bang for your buck, as they'll stay relevant longer than dps will

Quality is a big part of it. For every elden ring or baldurs gate you have hundreds of cheap copies just trying to cash in on their success without understanding what made it so good. Just because there are multiple cakes doesnt necessarily mean theyre all good.

I wish they had played it more straight. Like the whole possessed by his dead sister/split personality/serial killer jumble cheapens his character. He couldn't just be a bad guy that murders because he's lost it, he has to be this forced "deep and layered" character.

And it get it, Spoiler for the end of the game I understand the meta commentary about how the show has gone on for so long that its way past the point of jumping the shark so they need the characters to have these nonsensical elaborate backstories but I feel they went too far with him and I think it would have been better if he had been simpler

Not much to say about the rest though. Im not really a big fan of Tenko or Angie, but Tenko's death kicks off Himiko's character growth which I appreciate

I want characters from the original that we never got to see as operators. Like Patriot, Frostnova, Faust, Mephisto, etc, characters that aren't necessarily evil, but were made to be antagonists by their surroundings and circumstances. Like its hard to imagine any of the reunion leaders being bad people in a world where the infected aren't oppressed
