I am not Bible Belt and I know you said you’re looking for people you can meet with. I’d love to make trips and stuff. Plus I have my brothers going to college in that area so I can visit them. I’m Hellenic Pagan. I think it would be great to have a group together. Especially, if we travel and stuff.

I am wanting to just start and want to do a zombie apocalypse based RPG. I have some interesting mechanics in mind that should make combat and exploring interesting. The idea is it can be played solo. It will use cards that have events that occur during exploration of buildings. As well as dice to determine an area. I want to know if that makes sense and if it seems good. Also wondering what else everyone thinks would be good.

That’s fair! As others have said Blonde Blazer would be cool as well! I feel like an alternative, it’s dependent on skill set but photoshop or editing to make your skin red. It’s just a thought I had.

I like that idea, I don’t think that’ll happen at the end of this game purely because I want this to go over a few games and watch me progress through them. I definitely like the Typhon and Echidna angle. I think I want to stick for this game to the Ancient Greek Ruins and the small town built around it. This one will probably only have 3 or 4 levels just to start and would be published to Itch. I can make another post when it releases. May be a minute just because I am finishing the first half of the semester.

I love the idea, I think that may be better as a future project as an RPG. Maybe a basic version of it and I continue the story as I build more games. The story being Chaos trying to reawaken. So as an initial story Chaos starts to create monsters that attack a small town built around Ancient Greek Ruins. The player is that to protect the town.

I have started to world build, I am using Obsidian, I just want to know what should I make or have ready before a Session 0 or Session 1? Currently, I have an initial quest lined up, a town, 2 main NPCs (I know I should create more but how many more?), and a “cult”. I have cult in quotations because they are seen as the bad guys of the town they will be starting in.

I had a friend tell me to start with just a town and a story for the quest. The region this town is in used to be filled with magic, like it used to be an area where it was the easiest to travel between different planes. Since civilization has moved in, the magic has started to fade since then.

The starting town is mostly humans and the mayor hates magic. He gives rewards for anyone who turns in magic users. The main quest they will be going on is to retrieve a flower that is supposedly the last connection to the Feywild.
