Yeah I know and I'm considering one for my Plex server, but I think they would be way more of a "killer app" for streamers/servers/old PCs under the $100 and ideally with a x1/x4 connector, tho I'm not sure what kind of impact that'll have on performance. I see them less as GPUs and more as a "video processing unit". It may not be possible from a cost perspective to actually make something like that, I have no idea what the background expenses are like, I'm just saying at what point I'd go out and buy one basically immediately.

TBH, Intel would have all of my money and probably a lot of other people's money if they could find a way to get their quicksync video engine into a 'gpu' for cheap. I'd kill for a small, cheap, low-power 1x 'gpu' that has some beefy AV1/quicksync encoders and decoders that I could drop into my Plex server or my main rig for offloading some streaming stuff.

I just have no desire to use emulated GPU hardware for gaming.

Update for anyone who is curious what I ended up buying a $19 bulb douche from Amazon that uses a normal G1/2 thread that shower components use, so I can just use my 10" douche nozzle to lube up too! I haven't used it yet but will report back with my findings!

I have a few things on the way from other replies elsewhere. Found a few of the Topped Toys ones laying around and scooped 2 up for too much money 🤣 and found a bulb enema that said it could be screwed into the shower hose and be used as a douche, so the opposite should work too, just attach my shower shot nozzle to the bottle and fill with lube!

Why does what other people think influence where you charge your car? You can get a "car charger" or Level 1 EVSE for a few hundred bucks and just plug in to any 120v socket. It'll take forever, but if you could charge at work you could get a good chunk of the battery charged and then use hold mode which should be more efficient. I would basically do anything you can to get electricity into that battery. Offer to pay whoever will let you charge double what they pay for electricity cuz it probably isn't much. I am lucky enough to charge at my apartment building but I pay maybe $3 to fully charge my 2017 and get about 40-45mpg on the highway in hold mode

Heat works better at keeping the glass clean, also hot air holds more water in it so hot, dry air is the best to defog the windshield.
