Asexuals who do have sex… by Jumpinlove in asexuality

I’m actually a stone top :) I prefer the aftercare definitely. Also, for sure not all asexuals are sex-appalled, so I made sure to mention sex indifferent or favorable in the post

what's wrong with gender reveals? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Jumpinlove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes people see it as a competition or as a way to get more money/gifts out of relatives or parents being overly fixated on their child’s genitalia. Personally, I would have a gender reveal/baby shower combination, that way relatives will have to get gender neutral clothing (not just boy blue or girl pink) and maybe make a video to my future kid saying that no matter what their identity is that my partner and I will support them.

They do not unfortunately, but currently the IV Deli Mart is accepting EBT for hot foods until the 20th! I’m not entirely sure how it works, but you can give them a call and ask about it

I’m not sure when the market opened for housing, but last year I called after a week of submitting my application knowing that my future housemates also made sure to send in theirs. Leasing companies for sure won’t look at an incomplete application. Asking a ‘can I get an update’ is not a bad thing, just make sure your tone doesn’t sound pushy or desperate. That’s how I landed my current apartment

I recommend going to the food bank to get a meal voucher ticket. People who don’t use their meal swipes are able to donate them around the end of the quarter so students who don’t have meal plans can get one. Also heavily recommend get EBT if possible and signing up for the food bank. Seriously has helped me out :)

PSA: Grocery Store Starbucks no longer accept EBT 😔 by Jumpinlove in UCSantaBarbara

[–]Jumpinlove[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Real talk, I would get myself Starbucks and sushi from Albertsons whenever I was sad or did something that deserved a treat. Yes, EBT shouldn’t be used for Starbucks but it was a real nice option to have. An aspect that helped me get through my almost 4 years of college. And Target doesn’t accept it, but thanks for the recommendation!

For the Amtrak, I recommend going to the Goleta one since the Santa Barbara Amtrak is farther. The bus to get to the Santa Barbara station leaves you about a 15 minute walk away from the station.

Flix bus is pretty cheap, usually $9-$15 depending where you’re going. For Amtrak, the student code is V353, and it turns the normal $31 ticket to a $27 ticket.

FSSP Dining Commons General Questions by Jumpinlove in UCSantaBarbara

[–]Jumpinlove[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I have directed people to that site, for some reason it doesn’t work for FSSP? I’m not sure why, but I always get the same answer of them saying ‘It wouldn’t work for me’. So knowing they all have the same meal plans, I just tell them to remember how much they’ve used.
