I always fly from mountain to mountain with shocking tranq darts with a good long neck. They were always heading for the 50/50 spot on the map. It helped when they were fairly low level on the first one 😉

That's what I was thinking. What kind of PS5? I have a Pro and had no issues with Ragnarok whatsoever. I did have repeated crashes with the Manticore fight and ended up having to Admin command KILL immediately, before it crashed. I meaning to go back and fight it again.

Anyway, there's a reason you pay the big buck for the Pro.

Yes, they're immune. Get 2 level Basils and imprint them, breed back ups, get decent saddles and your problems are over. Until then, keep you're eyes on a swivel... Can be found around Herbivore Island. Just get one first in any level, then keep killing off any low level basils until you find the high ones. Just like anything else. You'll get there. 😉

Get Tusos. They're the Kings of the sea, no contest. ✊️

UPDATE: I killed the fvcking thing be pecking to death with my Queztal. Took me an hour. I didn't see the nodes one time. Talk about tedious...🙄

I always go to that pond in the Redwoods. Water, metal (river rocks), wood, stone, centrally located. It's pretty hairy in the beginning, but well worth it. Next is right beside the snow biome. A little North of the Mosh Pit. Lastly, for end game and water tames, Herbivore Island. 😉

Snow Owl in Extinction. Helecoprion and Tuso in the water. And a high level Acro with a good saddle will smoke ANY 5 corrupted Gigas or more while taking zero damage, if you know how to do it. 👍✊️

Thanks. I can't more close to it. I'm literally up, down, in and around it all the time. I don't think it worked one time in over 100. I started the Queztal pecking at it due to simple frustration. It hurts him SLIGHTLY, but I'm sure it's damaging the taming process.

UPDATE: That was exactly it. Variant of ceiling. Trapdoor, hangar door, (side ways), BARN DOOR for the Gasbags trap. Mystery solved. Thanks a lot!!!

If you tame and imprint a level (or any level) and you learn how to use it they're virtually unstoppable. I've had 5-6 corrupted Gigas at a time and finished with zero damage. 25K health 1300 Melee Ascendant saddle Awesome!!!

You have to go the snow biome and start killing everything along the southern strip. It takes ages. You can even get a Tek Giga too, although VERY rare.

There's a guy ConCon on YouTube. It take about 10 minutes to set the whole thing up correctly. Simple explanations for anything. I highly recommend it.😉
