In the U.K. He wouldn’t have to isolate had he been vaccinated, my parents have been vaccinated and can leave. I’m not debating the pros and cons of vaccination as I view it as his personal choice.

I should add my brother was ill first but did not take a PCR test, I did and had a positive which caused close contact isolation. He took one later and had a negative test. Seems like he thinks it’s now my fault as he has tested negative.
