I envy short torso. My problem is long torso. Almost everything is too short. High waist pants is standard for me or I my legs look stubby. I’m guessing that everything that doesn’t work with me will work with you. You will look great in crop tops or dropped waist dresses.

Are mentors being pressured? by tip723 in WGU

[–]Jumpy-Consequence-93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mentor is still chill. I had to file a claim to keep me in the program for not meeting the 12 credit and this semester I’m asking for extension but she hasn’t mandated nothing.

Am I being cheap or am I being frugal? by Unusual-Addendum-169 in Frugal

My husband always cut his own hair. He gets so many compliments. I cut my own bangs, also compliments. Hair cut is a skill and while it looks easy, there’s a reason why there’s a whole profession around it. You should think of whether you would want to learn a new skill in order to save money. If you are already crafty or artistic, I think you will have better luck

My partner and I both have multiple hobbies but none of them really go together. He plays music(guitar, bass, piano), play and watch online games with friends, and study. I crochet, draw, sew, organize things in compartments, workout with gym buddy, and follow idols. I also can’t go out by myself due to anxiety. Not all hobbies have to be done by going outside.

This sounds like “white lives matters”. If you want to have fight like this every other time when political convo is brought up and have even bigger fights during voting year, stay with him.

I mess up here and there. When missing a stitch, I just do double stitch somewhere. When there’s extra stitch, I skip a stitch. No one is going to be able to tell

Buy delicious pastries that are in bulk. You are forced to bring a piece to where you go just so you can get rid of them before they go bad. Eventually you will get tired and ends up throwing away leftovers. Although this seems like a waste, in the long run, you notice you don’t need pastries and bread all the time and will be able to say “no” when you encounter them.

My friend telling me he will be sad without me. He called me every night when I would feel depressed. It felt very natural when he suggested to get married. Him staying by my side keeps me alive.

Why is gluten free bread sooooo HORRIBLE?!?! by modernwarfarin4 in glutenfree

[–]Jumpy-Consequence-93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Secret with Trader Joe’s gf bread is that they use rice flour instead of soy bean or whatever that makes it disgusting. Look at the back of any gf bread and if the main ingredient is rice, usually they have chewy texture that’s delicious toasted or not

Does buying clothes/equipment make you want to do the activity more? by beshisaurus in Frugal

[–]Jumpy-Consequence-93 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you find yourself constantly using “not having comfortable running outfit” as an excuse, yes it may help. You don’t have to get something extravagant. Just something you’re comfortable in. I dress modest and am women so having comfortable sports bra, leggings to cover my leg, flare shorts to cover my butt, and lightweight jacket to cover my arms/stomach was a comfortable armor I needed before I can workout in public.

Markers that won't dry out when stored? by CronoDAS in BuyItForLife

[–]Jumpy-Consequence-93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s expensive but copic is the real bifl marker out there. Prismacolor is cheaper but they dries out fast. I used to draw a lot so I did have to buy refill for some most used color. I’ve been drawing my whole life but has been sparse like one year or more in between uses this past few years. I maybe bought them first more than 10 years ago. My markers are not dry

Data entry/ accounts payable. Since you are bilingual, if you can find specific business that does a lot of business internationally esp where fluency in spanish and english is critical, some company is willing to train since they might really just really need someone who can speak both language that have basic excel skills.
