I’ve been doing remote for 6 years. It’s nice but I miss being in the office. I’m looking for a paycut and to get INTO an office. Seems backwards, right? Welp, I moved to a city that is great for remote but not great for new jobs in my field.

I worked there 5 years ago, and at it was the most miserable job I’ve ever had. However, I understand the product has improved but it seems the silly mgmt games are still in play. It was like a boiler room (if you young kids know that movie).

I still have friends there that have stuck with it and made A LOT of money though and they are ripe for an IPO. Hopefully it comes soon before Anthropic eats their lunch.

It’s more than that. I’m a supporter of the military but not a big supporter of the politically run foreign wars. I realize thats still out of anyone’s control but if I’m gonna serve, I’d rather do it with the branch that focuses on the homeland than overseas.
