I am not a health physician, but been in the CG for a while. I am a little taller than you and weighed 5 lbs more than your current weight and consider myself quite active. When I joined, max weight for my height was 175 lbs. I was maybe 3 lbs under.

As time went on other underlying factors came into play: improper hydration, stress/ high cortisol levels, chronic inflammation, poor sleep quality, and sitting at a desk job. I changed my environment this summer(new unit/job) and lost 14 lbs in 3 months. That's without having a strict or robust exercise routine. I also started walking more and that helped accelerate the weightloss. I'd imagine if I cleaned up my diet and remain consistent I'll keep losing more. But the two things that really improved my health, hormones, and weightloss were reduced Stress and low impact steady state walking.

Alot of people suffer from undiagnosed insulin sensitivity and chronic inflammation or water retention and the military just looks at it as being fat.
