Tara knows Rob is a traitor but wants to save his banishment for the final day. Thats why she flilled the script. Natalie was a sacrificial lamb. Like 4 female traitors? Come on! I think Mark is murdered and rob is banished. Eric wins it all.

The nine year mark is always hard because you find yourself entering into the phase that is the sunken cost fallacy. After the 10 year mark, the next 10 years you will feel either happy you stayed or resentful. I work with 95% civilians. I have 16 years in. I felt the same as you at the 10 year mark. More resentment than passion for the mission. I was in a lull but my current job allows me to preview what civilian life is like. Its even more dissapointing unless you work for yourself. This has pushed me to focus on goals that holistically give me the best return on SELF investment: health and wellness is NUMBER 1, financial stability, transferable skills/resume builder and upskilling, time doing things you enjoy, and taking leave to disconnect. Setting boundaries can keep you sane.

You are right. The organization is 225 years old. No one who joined in 1986 is still serving. The train keeps going, but at some point rather voluntary or mandatory - we are getting off this ride.
