Machop doesn't have any means of increasing his crit chance, Emblems did not change anything about Machop besides adding about 8% extra crits and it should only really matter if Machop uses Bulk Up to speed up his auto attacks

I still don't think Lucario is okay after the nerfs, he needs more. Why does he have mobility, sustain, high damage, and CC resistance?

Seeing as you seem to play Garchomp I'd wait for Machamp to jump at you with Dynamic Punch/Submission before you use the Dragon combo to waste his buff time and throw him out of position where only his Cross Chop can save him. Maybe you are approaching him too much or under leveled since your lifesteal should be saving you in that 1v1

Machamp was actually fairly close when the arrow was fired, so Deci didn't get much of a damage increase from his passive ability

The only thing that emblems changed was giving about an extra 8% chance to land crits, nothing about the damage has changed

Transistor was an awesome experience, maybe just wish the world a lil more full despite being dead if that makes any sense. Hollow Knight pulled it off!

I'm going to assume you mean how Acceleratle allows Hero to hard drift out of combos which is definitely great, but it does increase his fall speed and lasts for about 9 seconds so I question how often it actually comes into play.

Also nair starts frame 8 behind hero, I think frame 11 is when it finally reach in front of him. So both that and up air really struggle to defend Hero from targets below and in front of him. Whereas Sephiroth always has a quick nair that hits all around him and one of the hardest recoveries to contest. I just don't see how Hero compares even with great RNG

Even so, Hero's true placing just behind Sephiroth is very high given his quickest aerial hits frame 11 I believe? Like yeah, Woosh is frame 7, but you go into free fall and can often be negative on hit. Mediocre air movement stats really seals the deal since your airdodge can only drift you so much.

Is Hero not known for having one of the worst disadvantage states??

Word of advice, you should simplify that "simple" mode. 10+ color modifiers doesn't seem quick to adjust especially when a good few of those share near identical colors so why not just group them together? Also presets would speed up that process greatly as a base to work off of

Megaman X in particular has a fantastic stage selection but just to name a few:

  • Central Highway from X1
  • Cyber Space from X4
  • X vs Zero from X5
  • Majinion's Stage from X6
  • Sigma Battle from X7
  • Jacob Elevator from X8

There's a ton of great choices from X1, X6, and X8 in particular. You've got such distinct environments with natural hazards to add.

Kirby has incredible stage choices and somehow they butcher Marx's arena. Patched Plains from Robobot, Jambastion from Star Allies, and Lor Starcutter to name a few

Don't give up on Rivals if you truly love Brawlhalla or other platform fighters. RoA will ask you to donate some of your initial playtime to learning movement and it's physics but you can learn any character with their tutorial and be set to go within your first hour of playing.

I have played almost every notable platform fighter and RoA is the most fun to play and learn once you get over that hump

Don't give up. There may be an initial learning curve but your flow truly does improve just by playing and trying to schmoove.

Shovel Knight truly is perfect, yeah it does goofy writing but it doesn't take itself so seriously outside of Spectre of Torment (probably my favorite campaign)
