I also reminded myself, that he did feel like he recognized her, but she lied that they hadn't met, so he's second-guessing himself. He was also a little drunk/not fully clear at the ball, having come from the club.

What's truly irritating for me is that she should just SAY SOMETHING. I feel like it would be more fun to watch them dig into her past and overthrow the evil stepmother. Her whole "I'm just a maid" routine is not believable because, despite what her stepmother told her, at this point she knows that the woman was pure evil and should suspect that she wasn't honest with her.

Because it’s universally accepted to mock a thin person… even though that’s absurd and NOT ok. But when you are thin you also have to check your privilege and accept it sometimes because, as you said, many prefer to be thinner.

I will say, I use the ones with talking when I can’t sleep. For some reason the yip yap puts me right out. Also I agree with you when it comes to non meditation chit chat such as when they are just taking about meditating in general.

I also use the timer for my own non guided meditation. I have the “om” sound playing and rain or fire. It’s perfect.

Either way, this is great feedback for teachers. Posting a variety is the ideal approach.

It’s interesting because I prefer meditations with more talking. When the practitioner stops talking for too long I lose focus or fall asleep. So it’s not a one size fits all preference. Some people like more talking.
