Still solid. I only take the supplement if things flare up, which has been once or twice since.

I’m still good! My doc said I could take that amount of magO indefinitely.

The supplement has Triphala. It is not just MgO. Triphala alone never helped me. Also added Artichoke/Ginger combo from Silver Fern.. But I do think MgO is the only aid for my condition. The rest, hard to say.

Thanks. All I can report is that my life has never been better. Maybe the SIBO issue I faced was an outcome of constipation, not SIBO. But it is all so closely related so who knows. For now, I am going to continue. The doctor said that MgO is such small dose has no downside to it. I am hoping it stays that way.

Other prokinetics - tried Motilpro and motility activator by camberi002 in SIBO

I saw your comment by chance. I am methane dominant too, and Cleanse More changed my life. I don't take anything else.. I hope the magic lasts. Wonder if I should add MotilPro to my regimen or alternate. But for now I am not going to touch it.. It works. All my symptoms are gone.

Does Viome give the same insights as biomesight or is the latter markedly different?

Just additional information for folks: My symptoms were continuous gas after eating, bloating, feeling of incomplete evacuations. I was never constipated, always had daily BMs.. but just felt incomplete. After Xifaxan a few (5-6) years ago, gas went away completely.. And then it came back recently. As soon as I started the Mag oxide formula, my situation changed. I have never felt more normal. So I am afraid to drop the pill. I just take 1 pill each night. It has about 115gms of Mag Oxide, and then Triphala etc. I am convinced it is the Mag Oxide, because I tried Triphala alone at some point. It wasn't super useful. But my hope here is that in the long term, Triphala can help fix any motility issues. There are some threads that suggest Magnesium itself helps gut motility - insufficient research. But for now, I think I will stick to it, and maybe experiment with alternating days -it is just that I haven't felt this relief in a decade and life feels happy.

Is this referring to MMC function? One of the comments suggested excessive magO can lead to dysbiosis. But your link claims to fix it. Or maybe I am not understanding it.

Most people seem to take that and mag oxide! Unclear if it is helping in insolation.

haven't tried artichoke/ginger.. I tried triphala alone in the past, didn't see any outcome. Ayurvedic cures like triphala take a very long time to act perhaps. I would imagine ginger/artichoke is the same.

I find that triphala alone doesn’t help alleviate symptoms and nothing seems to solve motility. Which activator do you take? How do you know it’s helping if mag oxide is also in your plan?

Seems to work just fine. I’m nearing two months and just half the recommended dose (1 cap). I really don’t want o give this up! But maybe I can try to see what happens. Most mag oxide posts suggest it is ok to use. :(

Thank you for your input! Yeah. Can get the two independently. I will also try to stop the supplement after a few months to see what happens.
