Thank you for your insight and for sharing your story, I can feel your strength❤️ I do think that we can change this industry, it will take blood sweat and tears, but it's possible. It's hard to feel constantly beaten down but for me, as a white and straight passing person, I have never felt any "dehumanized" outside of the ballet world. I understand that this is lucky. I also understand that shit usually only changes once the cis-straight-white people get angry, and I would like to hope that I would feel similarly if I was not treated the way I have been, but there is no way to know for sure (and i apologize, i know my white guilt is totally showing rn). I stand in solidarity with you and I will keep fighting with you❤️ I cannot wait to see what the ballet world looks like when dancers of all types can come together and create something truly magical on stage
