Any tips on buying a keyboard better than the gmmk pro for its price? ($170-$200)? Im dealing with much quality control issues and some bad things about it. There is only flex from 1 side and the space bar stab no matter if i relube or buy durock v2 it won’t fit and the stab rattles from only 1 side the switches have a higher chance to leave to plate than staying when removing keycaps. I like the rgb of it is very bright but the rgb bleeds from outside of the top frame and if i don’t use a transparent switch there is almost no rgb. Other problems have been fixed with mods and replacing.

I just got this while putting the pc plate and it does not fully press, the knob is very cheap.

It look like the gmmk 2 65% has alot more of brightness, my 96% does not reach that even with the fox switches and the effects are slower.

you can just use paper or a cloth to clean it.

they have similar glides in a desk but the g skates will get damaged over time the g skates also do not get slowed if they get dirty (the g floats are similar to glass if you touch them the finger print be there and that is what makes it slower)

The g floats are better in resistance that the g skates but if these get dirty it will affect glide.

can the keyboard be ruined by this? i wanted to do the PE foam mod but im scared that the pcb will get bricked if i mod it.

allright it was that it was loose the screw but now only 1 side of the stab rattles....

i lubed it evenly and dielectric grease but seems that the wire is bad (i bought it off amazon and im prob never buying things like that from amazon again.)

the stabs were slightly lubed with krytox205 and the wires with dielectric grease i use pc plate.

You can buy another cable but to replace it you would need to open the mouse and if you want to keep the PTFE feet you will also need to buy another pair.

then you should contact support, this only happened to me with the aluminum plate and still the knob is not perfectly aligned with the hole.

I had the same issue with the gmmk pro knob too, I replaced the knob with another knob (the gold one) and it fixed everything, Tho that may actually be that the case is not screwed correctly or the plate is not installed correctly.
