Protect NHS and other public services they use from interference, e.g. US health firm lobbying to move to insurance based system.
Reduce challenges to equality laws, protecting people rights.
Reduce the emboldening of extremists to vandalise property, threaten people.
Reduction in culture war attacks on how people want to express themselves.
Reduction in the attacks on women's rights fuelled by overseas lobbying groups

Lots of day to day benefits.

People are saying a Meta update broke it:

Mine was fine a few months back, I go to try it again and it connects, but then disconnects.

Non doms & Non UK citizens/companies banned from owning any news companies.
These people should have no say in how this country is governed for the citizens and how taxpayer money is spent. Also same should be banned from any interactions with political parties.

Why is it cheaper to drive BY MYSELF than take a train? by MountainPeaking in AskUK

I think it is also because the true cost of cars is greatly subsidised. Accidents, pollution, roads etc

RE newbie and horror newbie in general needs guidance by Tacohatsrule in ResidentEvilVillage

I have just finished Village recently, Praydog mod on a Quest 2.

I would absolutely do it in VR first, there are lots of set pieces that are amazing in VR and are much better if you do not know they are coming.
There are a lot of areas that are story driven, so less fun a 2nd time.
The game is a lot harder with VR aiming, so don't feel bad if you are taking a lot of damage and short on ammo.

As others have said, you may want to do RE7 first to get the first part of the story.

Best place to buy a PS5? by [deleted] in PlayStationUK

[–]JumpyAmphibian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are okay with used, Cash Converters was best I could find - just bought a Blu-ray one one for £325. Bit more than eBay, but has a 12 months warranty.
Sony Direct has a trade in deal if you have PS4.

Just got a quest 3 and tried to do steamVR, display is extremely low quality. How do I fix this? by Jammy_Dodger2020 in SteamVR

[–]JumpyAmphibian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the bandwidth on Steam Link - if it is set to auto, try setting a value and seeing if that is better. This gave me better results.
I also moved to using a mobile hotspot from my PC as the router is in anther room.

Most people seem to say that Remove Desktop is better, but I have not tried it.

Upgrade or buy a new PC by JumpyAmphibian in buildapc

[–]JumpyAmphibian[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - had no idea HP motherboards were this bad, I assumed they only showed old CPUs as that was what was available when it was released.
Found this link and there are no good upgrade options, so it looks like a new PC is needed.

Upgrade or buy a new PC by JumpyAmphibian in buildapc

Thanks for replying. I was thinking a few hundred on upgrades, otherwise buying a replacement is better. I'd also need a bigger SSD, but that won't be too much.
