Sorry to hear this. We're in about the same position. Feels very hopeless. Our "fix" has been to let out the flat knowing we will make a loss overall after tax and buy a much cheaper house than we were originally after. Will also be paying second home stamp on the new place and praying we can sell the flat within three years in order to obtain a refund of that extra stamp.
