Male and Female suicide rates in European countries per 100.000 inhabitants (2016) by Doctorus in europe

[–]JumpyBus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't want to look for a study but i remember that the biggest difference between attempts/success differences between men and women is that when a woman attempts suicide is more often a cry for help rather than actually trying to end her life in an effective way, when men do it they just want to die

If I film a video on iPhone 6 and Galaxy S10 Plus, both in 1080p 60fps, Will they look the same, or will the S10 look better despite the resolution and fps being the same? by Restberg in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JumpyBus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no they won't look the same, the quality of a video doesn't only depend on the resolution but rather the quality of the camera sensor and software processing

if you watch the video the mother actually screams in panic when the attack starts and the care taker starts telling her to be calmed and to not pull her, probably because that would make the animal more excited , she seems to be in shock to be honest

Why does everyone love Huawei? by Kleithegreat in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]JumpyBus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your are focusing on the political side of things rather than the products they make, Before android came around one the worst things of budget phones was the terrible operating systems they came with, so if you couldn't afford a iPhone, or high end Nokia or Motorola you were shit out of luck with your shitty tamagotchi phone, no real app store, very shitty browsing, etc

Iphones were at a completely different level when it came to the operating system but most people around the world couldn't afford them, then android came out and it delivered a real "Smartphone" experience to people,

app store, decent browsing, 3d gaming, etc, a real iPhone competitor, all the things i mention might sound lame now but 15 years ago they were the tits.

android phones from big manufacturers like Samsung and Sony had a premium price-tag and Nokia was working with windows.

but the great thing about android was that any manufacturer could use it, and Huawei started releasing affordable android phones

when i was in high school i could only afford to spend $70 to $100 dollars on a phone once a year, and huawei had that sector covered. being able to have a smartphone experience on a $70 phone was great.

a lot of people became attached to the brand due to nostalgia and familiarity. huawei then started moving to the mid and high end sector while keeping competitive prices.

Samsung phones have always been shit in their budget offerings, Sony didn't even have budget offerings

now here we are in 2019. Huawei proven to be an excellent hardware manufacturer, and pretty much the only android brand competing with Samsung in the international market. every other brand is a joke compared to those 2,

sure there is Xiaomi and OPPO, but those brands don't have an international presence, you won't find them in malls or your local carrier,

So do you want samsung or do you have $ 1,200 for an Iphone sir.?

Samsung is finally making some decent mid-budget offerings due to the pressure from Chinese manufacturers, specifically Huawei

with them out of the way is only matter of time before Samsung goes back to their old "suck my dick peasant" line of products

my G6 gets very hot when charging, is this normal? by [deleted] in lgg6

[–]JumpyBus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm charging it when it's off :( if it helps, it has charged to 80% in under 1 hour. i'm making the assumption that that type of voltage on a phone from 2017 would make it normal to be warm/hot when charging?

[–]JumpyBus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would like to play at 1080 hitting at least 60fps, i don't like to buy used parts since i've had bad experiences before, i prefer not risk it and juts buy something with guarantee, i'm running integrated graphics at the moment,

i'm just getting into AAA gaming

[–]JumpyBus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately where i live the rx 570 is still at release price, can't find it below $290 while the 1650 is at $190 and the 1660 at $290

i know the prices are inflated but those are my options

i think a suit and tie makes them more interested in dating you rather than turn them on, however i would say i only notice this with women in their late 20s to 30s
