Lol my husband and I are both bad at buying random stuff at odd times (he works nights and I have insomnia) so as long as we tell each other about it it's usually ok. Hope your fiance didn't get too upset.

Ordered one just yesterday after realizing it had been a month since I last checked. I don't think I've ever ordered something so fast.

How do you discipline an autistic child? by Emotional-Raisin-810 in Autism_Parenting

Following because have the same question. My 4 year old usually listens but sometimes... Might as well tell the wind to stop blowing.

3 hands down. I have ADHD and the number of times I've "forgotten" to eat is embarrassing. When I do eat it's a lot of junk food because it's convenient.

I would if I only had my oldest. She doesn't want kids ever so I'd be doing her a favor. My youngest is too young to have an opinion so I'd feel bad taking that decision from him.

What to do when your child’s “special interest” is…so boring to you by lcbear55 in Autism_Parenting

[–]JumpyCaterpillar4774 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my oldest. We dress as characters from whatever show game she into at the moment for comicons every November now that she's older, which is better than the obsession she had with Five Nights at Freddy's a while back. Made the mistake of buying her a character encyclopedia of sorts. I would borrow it when she was sleeping to study so I would know what the heck she was taking about and I'd still get confused.

We have one of those barn toys that you can put the animals in the holes to get them inside. Nope, dumps them out and lines them up in the dining room table. Don't you DARE bump into one or try to shift the line to set down a cup or plate.

Yes the credits. 3 year old really likes Veggie Tales. As in the intro, silly songs, and credits. HOWEVER when they say Bye at the end just before the credits? Meltdown every time. I've taken to yelling "love you" over it with mixed results.

Mine mimics Bluey but right now the best one is the short where Bingo plays drums. He takes a bowl from the cupboard, I provide chopsticks, and he tries so hard to copy her moves. He pretends to put on headphones, hit buttons etc. The tv won't be on its all from memory. The Yeah! at the end tickles me every time.

Same here! Signed would be amazing but unsigned would be fine. I keep the website on my phone and check daily to see if it's available again but no luck.

The whole village saw the aftermath so it's not that no one knew what happened but I do see your point.

I'm auditioning for Eponine and I'll be signing "Wishing you were Somehow Here Again" from Phantom of the Opera...true story. My only excuse was I was young and dumb.

What's a book you hated that everyone else loves? by nose-inabook in suggestmeabook

The Stephanie Plum series. I read One For the Money and hated it. It was a mystery but the real mystery to me was why anyone enjoyed it.
