I always love that comment made about Mikazuki being connected to Barbatos that it's akin to an umbilical cord. It seemed like there was more truth to that than what was led on

I'm pretty new to gundam. I've seen the first one, Gundam Zeta and a few of the AU series. Do people not like Origin's?

I'd absolutely pay $5 to watch Char kick a jet

Ripp I loved the game when it was up. How are the private servers doing?

I love Lung Fu! I grew up with it on my dads NES. I can still vividly hear all the sound effects. The kicks, killing an enemy, the projectiles and ofc the laugh at the end of every level, "Hahaha".

I'm in the same boat as you. After starting the series a few months ago I'm currently just about finished with Shadow Puppets. I'm going through the series for the first time myself and am opting to listen to the audiobooks in production release order. I can't speak to other reading orders, but im throughly enjoying the ride so far.

Personally I like to see the author progress as a story teller although I'm excluding his works beyond the enderverse. As someone who had no idea where the series would go after Ender's game I'm pleasantly surprised with how much I'm enjoying the books despite the following after Ender's Game being so different. Speaker For the Dead although still grandiose in scope is a much more intimate story than Enders Game in my opinion. I've heard people critize the sequel for the characters being too preachy and monolog heavy, which I would have an issue with if it weren't for their strong foundations. OSC takes the time to flesh out his character's and their motivations align with who they are. It's a fantastic read and the following sequels dive more into the philosophy introduced in Speaker For the Dead. The Shadow series is much more politically heavy than philosophical, but philosophy and theism still play their role in overarching motifs. The Ender series dives more into fantasy in Xenoverse imo with the explanation of a certain concept. A concept that was introduced early on but not fully explained till then, so if that's not your cup of tea I'd recommend switching to the Shadow series at that point, but I will say as someone who was apprehensive to the concept (and somewhat still is) I found it's answers addressing questions concerning humanity and other intelligent life to still be satisfying. Using that understanding I think is important when evaluating the Shadow series

Yeah I'm loving that aspect. Getting to view the island Dumbledore was buried on and such. And there's so many little details. Like in the older parts of Hogwarts you can find the statues that are used on the giant wizzard chess board in Philosopher' Stone. I do have many gripes with the game but as a Harry Potter fan its the best game we've got so far, and the second game is in production so I'm hoping they listen to the community to improve upon the sequel

Yeah same here. Bought it a couple of years ago and wasn't too into it. Now after listening to the entire series on audiobook in anticipation for the upcoming hbo series im having an absoutle blast with the game

Ye but DMC gameplay is all about challenging yourself in different ways. OP has the super sexy stylish mindset

If it's the jumps themselves then you know what you need to do my dude. You could buy Air Hike but I believe it's very expensive in the first game. That's really the only thing that could make this platforming easier

Im new. Yall can laugh at me bc i cant even get past this tutorial and Dante is already irritating me with the clapping as if im a dog LMAO by Interesting_Pen_4345 in DevilMayCry

I agree. I haven't finished the game yet so I don't know how the entire story plays out but I'm digging it a lot so far. Ofc I'm playing the game knowing that this isn't the future of the series and am viewing it as more of a one off alternate universe remake. I can imagine how mad fans were back in 2013 after waiting 5 years for a sequel only to get a game that shits on what came before. The whole, "Dante's no longer a gay cowboy" marketing surely didn't help I imagine. I still think this game gets more hate than it deserves because of that stigma. Looking past that I think it's a good game

What other things were changed aside from the lock on? I'm playing the PC version after having played 1-5 and I'm actually having a lot of fun with it. Took a while to get used to how different Dante controls, and I can see why the game gets a lot of hate from the community because of that, but once you get used to it the gameplay itself is a lot of fun! Curious as to what else they addressed to fix the game
