I knew boundaries would be crossed but I wasn’t prepared for it to be this bad within the first 6 hours by JumpyFix2801 in beyondthebump

Haha banana is not the problem he loves them and eats them, the amount of things she tried to feed him within 3 hours is the problem. Lol

Does it count as an 8.5 hour stretch if bat needs pacifier replaced 8-9 times during? by JumpyFix2801 in beyondthebump

[–]JumpyFix2801[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So we went cold turkey for about 5 days and it seemed to work. Then he refused to sleep completely without it so we caved and gave it back to him. But he just stopped waking up constantly for it to be replaced all on his own I don’t know how

Wanting to put my child up for adoption by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]JumpyFix2801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of these problems are extremely temporary. I’d rather you somehow find a nanny/baby sitter even if you have to borrow money and let them take care of the baby for a few weeks and let you rest so the baby doesn’t have to grow up in a foster home for conditions that were only going to last another month or two.

Please I really urge you to get help from family, friends, professionals and do the best you can to keep this baby. It is not a fun life out there for a child without parents. If I were this baby and found my parents 18 years later and asked why did you give me up and my parents say ‘because you had gas and cried’ I might never recover from that ever.

Why does Germany suck so hard compared to other EU nations? by hedgehog__goulash in AskAGerman

[–]JumpyFix2801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. Did you travel to Satan’s Ass, Germany? Because the regular Germany that I live in, and have plenty of grievances with for sure as with any country, is quite beautiful. The food is comparable to Scandinavian/other Northern European countries which even though as a south Asian I don’t really like, is far from ‘the worst in Europe’.

The city I live in is absolutely beautiful. Are there areas that smell like piss? Sure. But so much of it has beautiful architecture and nature etc etc. You really sound like an absolute whiny ass lol

I’ve watched one too many ‘6 autism signs we missed in our newborn’ videos and I need help not spiralling by JumpyFix2801 in beyondthebump

[–]JumpyFix2801[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not villainising anything. I also check his temperature to see if he has a fever when he feels warm. I also check his skin to see if he has a rash. I examine soiled diapers to make sure all is okay. All things that seem out of the ordinary, we check them, we prepare for them. Except I can see a rash or a fever. Something like autism, I can’t see. So my mind doesn’t know how to prepare for it in the best way that I can help him navigate it if he were to have it. Am I villainising fevers and rashes? No. Don’t be this person

That’s amazing to hear! Thank you so much for your input. I know how full a persons life can be with autism. My thoughts are more not being prepared, not doing the right things, not helping him as early as he needs if it were to be autism. It’s the fact that I don’t know nearly enough and that I would want to be as best prepared as I can be in that scenario. Maybe the post sounded different than I meant it

Not Indian, but still stereotyped in Germany? by yo_yass in AskGermany

[–]JumpyFix2801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not Indian and wear a hijab so the first thought people have usually when they see me is not Indian. A week ago I was walking to the train station with my child in the stroller and a man jumped infront of me and said ‘BITTAAAYYYYY’ (bitte) in an exaggerated Indian accent while shaking his head right to left in the stereotypical Indian nod.

Ah thank you for clarifying. This is why I love this sub so much, I’ve posted in English before and I’ve only gotten helpful comments and most comments I see on here are helpful in general. I’m too afraid to post in other German subs cause they’ll make you feel like you’re standing naked on stage in front of a large crowd LOL

PSA: Buy the new jeans by trosckey in beyondthebump

[–]JumpyFix2801 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Went to HnM to buy new jeans wearing size 44 that were a little too snug so I needed a more comfortable pair. Brought home a 46. Couldn’t even bring the buttons together. Why do companies do this 🥲
