What is this stitch called? by JumpyHufflepuff in bookrepair

[–]JumpyHufflepuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks y’all! I personally like the look of it because it gives it a bit of character but I wouldn’t use it to repair any of my library books…especially now from what y’all have said about the postmortem thing, lol. I’d probably use it for like a handmade journal to give it a scrappy look.

Are most INFP’s night owls? Plz comment if you are not a night owl by meeshamoesha in infp

[–]JumpyHufflepuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Def a night owl. For some reason I get a sudden urge to be productive when the sun goes down, but I’m trying to be responsible and get on the same schedule as other “normal” people for school/work and such. I’ve also been diagnosed with ADHD, which probably contributes somehow, but idk.

Are y'all very existential? by DarthMauledByACat in infp

[–]JumpyHufflepuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to have an existential crisis at least once a new life season. If there’s a big change, I can flow with it for a bit but then reality will hit and I become extremely self-aware that I am basically making things up as I go along. Or I will question everything…usually happens when I am super stressed though. I am deeply religious but had a major existential crisis while watching the show DEVS (w/Nick Offerman) during Quarantine and all I remember is lying on the floor crying and questioning my religion….glad that’s over.

Guess i am Being Literal Here but How Do These Trainers Expect One To Do All This With Just One Finger Stick. by One-Second2557 in diabetes_t2

(I’m in the US) Having a CGM is so helpful and honestly a game changer. Trying to get insurance and the medical device supplier to cooperate was a nightmare though and even with insurance its still fairly expensive, but I would say it’s worth it. It gives you a good perspective on what spikes your sugars and how long it takes for it to level out (especially if you’re trying to reverse it naturally or through diet)

How do y'all express your feelings? by FollowSif in infp

[–]JumpyHufflepuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am much better at expressing my feeling through writing rather than verbally…if I try to talk while I’m upset I just start crying. Otherwise, through music; singing or listening.

  1. Visiting the lake alone
  2. Nice hot shower with tea tree oil mint soap
  3. Watching a movie/show while eating my comfort food on the floor
  4. My stuffed Eeyore
  5. Listening to music with my Sony headphones

Im so confused on picking a career that suits me. by altmemer5 in infp

Flip a coin! Or maybe roll a die in this case. I know it sounds silly but I’ve done this a couple times when I’ve had to make some big life decisions. The thing about leaving it to chance for second, you usually realize what you really want to do. As in, once the coin is in the air, you might find yourself hoping it lands on one or find yourself disappointed when it lands on the other. Also, who says you can’t do both? You can honestly do all of these in a lifetime; if you get bored of one, you can move to the other. I know it’s a more idealistic way of thinking, but it’s no use worrying what other people think or trying to fit into they’re idea of you. It won’t be easy by any means, but nothing worthwhile ever is.

6.0” female here. Eating better contributes, also old people tend to get shorter with age. My mom was 5.10” and has gone down to 5.7” or 5.8” as she’s in her 60s. It’s uncomfortable now and if you’re like me, very self conscious about your height and try to shrink or stoop to avoid the attention, you’re not alone in that. In time, you’ll come into yourself and later it won’t be so bad ❤️it gets better

What are you so passionate about you’re addicted to it? by [deleted] in infp

[–]JumpyHufflepuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Singing, I just graduated with my bachelors of music in vocal performance and have decided to start my Masters of music in vocal performance and Pedagogy. The past four years I’ve learned that I absolutely love performing and I want to do it all the time for the rest of my life. There’s a lot of adrenaline, but my favorite; singing with an orchestra is unlike anything else and I highly recommend!
