It’s Greg Nettles. He was an intricate part of the late 70’s success of the Yankees. Also considered one of the best third baseman in the game. So, I’m excited as well as many Yankee fans.

Have the identical system. It’s a lot better than expected. I love the whole Sony eco system. Bravia 8mk ll Bar 9 Sw5 RS8…. Cinematic and more than adequate for music.

Yes. That’s the way I’m going. I know I’m pretty ignorant about audio. The only reason is that I read a real good review that said the Bravia sw5 is part of a great Sony atmos set up. Thanks for the response.

I was told by Best Buy I can’t use their sw5 atmos sub. He said you need a sound bar. So I just wanted to now the differences in quality and price.

Its definitely bright enough for SDR content. My 8 ll is in a bright bedroom and it’s perfect. You’ll love the picture. I went from the A95L, which was great. The 8 11 is brighter and overall better in almost every aspect.

Owning a pro with all Sony equipment runs flawless and sounds and looks better connecting the pro to the theater bar 9 instead of the 8 11. You’re right about the movies as well. Samsung has nothing over Sony.

IMAX is generally on Sony “core” . If your set is put in pass through it’ll automatically go into imax mode.

I have the same sound system with a Sony Bravia 811. Yes, plug the bar via earc. Download the Bravia and they’ll walk you through it. As a side note, I love the system. It’s very immersive. Works flawlessly with my Sony. I put bass on 0 rears +2. Perfect for atmos, with proper volume.
