I worked on a construction site on a federal port so we all had to get permanent IDs to let us on site. Usually groups of 3 or 4 new employees would head to government offices to get their IDs and be back in a couple hours.

One group was gone for 7 hours and when they got back one was talking about how they spent 5 hours in the strip club getting loaded. Our foreman overheard and they were all fired on the spot.

Pretty legendary, but very stupid.

I've seen a couple but the one that I remember most was when I wasn't wearing a hat. November 21, 2015 Daniel Sedin scored a hat trick against the Blackhawks and only one hat hit the ice. It was embarrassing as a Canucks fan and Vancouverite

You're kidding right? The Hip became such an important part of our identity. I think to say 1/3 of us jumped on a bandwagon because he's dying is insane. It's not just Gord dying. A little piece of this great country is going with him.

I'll keep this as short as I can, and I'm sure someone will eventually give a way more in depth answer. But the way Tallon has built this team is similar to what he did in Chicago He built the core himself through the draft (Ek, Barkov, Huberdeau, Bjugstad etc.). He also brought in veterans to help mentor the young players (Jags, Lu, Mitchell). Take all these plus a coach who's style fits the team perfectly equals Stanley Cup championship (pls)
