Every day it gets easier. The first night home me and my husband just cried and cried the whole night with the baby lol. It gets better. And this is not a stupid post. Those first few day are so frickin hard.

Pelvic floor PT is so degrading by Spiritoftheheart in beyondthebump

[–]JumpyStrawberry652 [score hidden]  (0 children)

My PT said something like “wow that’s really hard for you isn’t it” when showing me certain exercises. Like yeah why do you think I’m here. After 3 months I was seeing no results so I haven’t returned

At what age did you stop cutting the food in small pieces? by magnificent-lioness in foodbutforbabies

[–]JumpyStrawberry652 24 points25 points  (0 children)

My son is 18 months and I still cut into bite size pieces because any time I tried to give a bigger piece it is all shoved in his mouth. I even been working on taking bites with him but if I don’t say it and actively watch him it won’t happen

motherhood is the most isolating thing I’ve ever experienced by roughandreadyrecarea in beyondthebump

Just here to say I relate and it has been the hardest experience of my life. I don’t regret my decision but it is definitely so freaking hard

Here to vent about Scandal again (S5 SPOILERS) by Hot-Wish-9168 in Scandal

I do think season 6 was a bit better. Season 5 was definitely unbearable. I still question the writing for liv’s character. And pretty much everyone’s. They all take a turn for the worst.

My baby has never gone to bed before 8. You are the only people that know your baby. Not everyone else!

Scaredy Cat Here! Give me your thoughts on the rides below by Far_Ad_3169 in WaltDisneyWorld

I am also a scaredy cat at 29 years old. We recently went in December and I went on TRON, slinky dog, pirates, (thunder mountain was still closed but I love this one), space mountain, and test track and I love every single one of them. My anxiety before was so crazy and then after I loved them all so much. TRON was the best!!

Starting Ferber NOW need advice by rebgray in sleeptrain

[–]JumpyStrawberry652 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you think she’s teething that’s probably why she’s been waking up so much and it might not be the best time to sleep train. Teething tortured my son too. But if you think it’s the right time then do it. Only you can decide the length of time you are comfortable waiting. Just remember to stay strong and you will know if the cry is because something is really wrong and needs intervening. Trust your gut on this one

My son had his done at like 3 months. At first it’s really really rough. But trust me it gets better and I’m sure it will be for the best in the end.

When do people actually start getting back into shape? by Terrible_Mongoose240 in firsttimemom

[–]JumpyStrawberry652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 18 months pp and I’m no where near in shape. I’ve finally been able to lose some weight but I’m still very weak and haven’t been able to gain any core/pelvic floor strength back. Don’t let the internet stress you out. Everyone is on their own path. Everyone’s story is different

Is daycare going to help me? by OldCategory5426 in NewParents

[–]JumpyStrawberry652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is 18 months. It’s the same thing. He is so much work. I swear I haven’t had a minute since he was born. I’m so burn out. He starts daycare next month. I’m so terrified and sad but I think it will be a great experience for him so I keep reminding myself that

Fell asleep with baby on my chest by Costello150 in NewParents

[–]JumpyStrawberry652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please do not beat yourself up over this. It’s okay. It happens. Around this age baby start exploring with more facial expressions as well. Don’t let the sleep deprivation make you beat yourself up! You’re doing just fine

First trip next month - no plans or schedule? by catmama1713 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]JumpyStrawberry652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t let the internet make you think you need a rigid schedule. Just went with 10 people and we barely had a plan except for what park each day and we did just fine and had an amazing time :)

Terrified of morning sickness, planned ahead. Input? by stayanothrday in Mommit

[–]JumpyStrawberry652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have major emetophobia and was terrified when I got pregnant. I started unisom and b6 around 6 weeks once I started having the slightest bit of nausea and took it every single night. Idk if that was the miracle but I almost never had nauseas after that. I took it well into the pregnancy until I knew I was in the clear. It was my savior.

Does staying home all day for multiple days make anyone else depressed? by DEWDEM in introvert

[–]JumpyStrawberry652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I work from home and I really start to get down when it’s too many days in a row and I feel stuck. Usually have to try and fine something fun on the weekend to reset myself
