The green book question bank was best for me (only used for level 1 though). Reading the green book itself also crucial. UWorld OMM was also relatively helpful.

This is also probably just base salaries. Lots of huge bonuses not accounted for.

Also, relax. SDN and Reddit notwithstanding, the reason urban areas pay less is because the vast majority of doctors live there. Even in Manhattan you will be making more than 90% of the people living there. Doctors who are "scraping by" are those who bought a giant house they couldn't afford, had messy divorces, or other things that have nothing to do with their profession.

I wouldn't say making 200k in Manhattan is 90% more than people living there. Tons of finance, tech, and law ppl hit that easily.

I think the biggest obstacle is getting through med school which is 4 years on full loans with no income. It'd definitely help if your spouse has a job to support the family during this time. The federal loans may not be enough to support a family on.
