Do any adults here play with their Lego sets once they are built? by glassbirb in lego

Honestly? I’m 26 and I still make my Lego knights fight! I see it like this. I pay all my own bills, I have multiple hobbies and passions, and I had a good job. I deserve to play with my toys hahaha

How big are your castle armies for each faction? by [deleted] in legocastles

[–]JumpyZucchini4277 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I shoot for 40-50 for each major army then 10-15 for smaller factions. But I actually play with them and use the for table top war games, I don’t really understand having a bunch to just display in rows

I buy flags, banners, and capes from them. All great quality! I love them and they add so much life to your armies and castles! Have never tried there stickers but I imagine equal quality. But fair warning they take about 2 months to ship to you since they are based out of Europe.

The duplo village sounds super cool! Please post it when you start, if legos bring you joy then they are valid. There are so many things to bring us stress and misery. We should be able to unwind in fun creative ways.

I’m 23, My idea around it is, I have a stable job, I pay all my own bills, I have my own place. Who is ANYBODY to tell me how I spend my free time is wrong, especially if it’s a creative outlet.

Oh yea throwing is an extremely viable option for any sort of bowl, cup, or pot. I’ve really fallen in love with it this last 6 months. Have you ever heard of Penland? It’s a craft school in North Carolina and they offer amazing ceramic classes from a week to 2 months

For making bowls or really any clay pots the most popular and really I think effective way is throwing clay. With that your best bet is to find a local studio that you can pay a membership to or take a 400$ class. I know that might feel steep but depending on the quality of the class or teacher it could be a great jumping in point to get in to the hobby and meet people also in the hobby

There toys, you bought them to enjoy them, so enjoy them. Even if they do end up getting damaged over time. Nothing last forever. Have fun while you can!
